Families in murder case will share temporary custody of children

As discussed in a recent blog post, families in a murder case were feuding over child custody of two children. Although the murder trial is far from over and a permanent child custody ruling has not yet been made, a recent news report says the two families involved in the custody battle seem to be coming to some compromise. The murder trial, which accuses one man and his alleged mistress of killing his wife in a drive-by shooting, is ongoing.

Congressman claims verbal arrangement in child support battle

In recent news, New Jersey residents are hearing about politics behind closed doors for one U.S. politician. Amidst recent allegations that U.S. Representative Joe Walsh owes more than $117,000 in back child support, the congressman is claiming he and his ex-wife came to a verbal agreement that neither party would pay the other child support, instead splitting the costs of raising their child in half.

Family of murdered New Jersey woman seeking child custody

The family of a woman who was murdered during a shooting in New Jersey in August appeared in court to request child custody of the deceased woman's children. Currently, the children are living with the father's parents while he is on trial for his alleged role in the murder.
